It is extremely rare to find a Russian tourmaline that is both doubly-terminated and on matrix!It is extremely rare to find a Russian tourmaline that is both doubly-terminated and on matrix! Almost all of them are sold as single crystals with no matrix, and are terminated only on top. Being on the matrix the way it is, it is harder to see the gemminess, but this crystals have good transparency and the classic purple-red color for Russian tourmalines
